I bought the serpent brown at a kiosk in DC and I've had lots of compliments on this hat. It holds form really well as I had to pack in home in my bulging suit case along with the other souvenirs. I honestly didn't think there was a chance the hat would bounce back. Boy was I wrong, it never missed a beat. Definitely the best all around hat I own. It's a "Can't Miss" hat and the serpent brown goes with all my casual clothes. (Posted on 2/12/2015)

I received my hat just a couple of days ago and absolutely love it! Even had a couple of people ask where I bought it! Its great quality and I agree with Greg I also ordered the serpent color based on his comments that it is darker than what the picture on the site shows. And it did indeed come darker! It will go with everything I will wear! Thinking of getting something along the same lines for my wife. And maybe even a second one for me just for variety! (Posted on 8/22/2012)

This fedora really surprised me. Excellent quality for the money, stitching on my sample is perfect. The edge is finished, not a raw edge. The headband is comfortable cloth not a cheezy leatherette material. Highly recommended as is The Fedora Store. (Posted on 8/22/2012)

I've wanted a fedora for a long time. This one's my first. It's soft and crushable, looks good, and is well worth the price I paid. Initially, I thought it was a bit too nice looking for casual wear - but I'm used to the look now. The snap turn-down brim is a feature I really like. The serpent color is good, too: it's a dark brown with a slightly greenish hue - not the lighter brown that I saw on this web site. (I was aware of this from the previous reviewer - thanks, Paul!) I've decided it's a versatile and pleasing complement for much of what I already wear. The light brown band is rather shiny, and the Bailey pin came attached to the center of the bow and not the rear fold (see picture).

I first saw this hat in a store in Maderia Beach Florida at Johns Pass, I had to have it. I wore it out and have bought 2 more .I have never had so many compliments on a hat in my life. Everyone I play Texas Hold-em with wants to know where to get one. I won't tell them. (Mean aren't I ?)
It has become my signature of appearance, I have had other hats,..but none has had the sharp look of the Low Profile Curtis.

Beautifully crafted, lightweight, comfortable hat. The "low profile" of this hat distinguishes it from all others in its class. I received many compliments on it since day one (yesterday) and I just ordered a second one today in a different color. This hat surpasses in style and quality hats priced three times as much!!!
